Position Summary
We are looking for Case Coordinators to support the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement subcontractor work. The ideal candidate will have case management or case coordination experience with youth populations.

Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually

Position Summary
We are looking for Case Coordinators to support the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement subcontractor work. The ideal candidate will have case management or case coordination experience with youth populations.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Research
- Gather information for a project by conducting interviews, surveys, facilitating groups, analyzing client documentation, conducting research of best practice and academic literature, and the application of other information gathering tools.
- Provide or support project management activities in accordance with industry standards, client expectations, and PK’s project management methodology.
- Help your team meet project objectives, timelines, and deliverables within budget.
- Analyze and organize information identifying root causes of issues, opportunities for improvement, and generate ideas to improve the client situation.
- Participate with your team to develop recommendations for actions that will improve the client’s situation.
- Communicate the results of our work (information, analysis, and recommendations) through participating in developing and delivering written reports, formal presentations, and oral discussions with your team, and clients and stakeholders.
- Freely share your knowledge, skills, and abilities with your colleagues.
- Perform firm administrative activities.
- Grow your skills and experience by participating in projects and actively pursue continuing professional education.
- Develop an effective working relationship with clients and colleagues.
- Master’s degree in social work or social science related discipline and 2 years of demonstrated post-graduate child welfare experience or 3 years of post-undergraduate experience
- Alternative: Bachelor’s degree in social work or a social science related discipline and 5 years of demonstrated post-degree child-welfare experience; or a non-qualifying bachelor’s degree and 7 years of demonstrated post-degree child welfare experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Tier 2 security clearance or the ability to secure such clearance
- Strong skills in understanding complex family relationships and dynamics and demonstrated ability to review case files and assess/document information from a variety of sources
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite; ability to learn and use IT systems developed specifically for use with this project in a timely manner
- English/Spanish bilingual (confirmed verbal fluency confirmed and documented)
- Working knowledge of challenges related to unaccompanied children’s placement and release and post-release services
- Experience working for a refugee program in an ORR facility (very closely related experience may be considered)
- Ability to promote and positively contribute to the organizational culture and environment
- Solid team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives and stakeholder needs
- Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on Technical Assistance (TA) project management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate an outstanding level of professionalism, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy
- Experience working with immigrant youth and families
- Knowledge of migrant/refugee issues, particularly related to UC and sponsor families and the processes/documentation required for sponsor release
- Education and/or experience in the application of strategies in human service settings
- Working knowledge of challenges related to unaccompanied children’s placement and release and post-release services
- Experience in mental/behavioral health for children or experience with juvenile justice program
- Prior work experience in a consulting environment
- Must have the ability to travel to client sites
- Must have the ability to work from a home-based office
- Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time
- Must have the ability to speak on the telephone for extended periods of time
- Must have the ability to read (paper or computer screen) for extended periods of time
- Must have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other Company equipment
- Must have the ability to be self-driven, and work independently and as part of a team
