Description:

PSCU is seeking a talented Branch Manager to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation.

  • The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations of the branch and coach and develop their service team to support PSCU’s mission and brand, promote a positive work environment, provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service to members, and committed to the expansion and success of the credit union.
Requirements:

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to)

  • Manages and supervises branch employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership. Coach and support staff to meet individual and branch goals and maintain a high-level service culture by identifying member needs for new services and products.
  • Ensure the branch meets established financial and operational goals to include service level goals, budget goals, and profitability goals.
  • Develops and follows through on action plans to improve sales achievement at the branch, consistent superior member experience, improve operational processes and controls and mitigate loss.
  • Maintains and oversees all banking procedures and processes. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with all credit union policies/procedures and report any inaccuracies when discovered.
  • Monitor branch operations and appearance to ensure a consistent professional image and manage the security and safety of the branch.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of PSCU products, procedures and other areas impacting the credit union or the membership.
  • Provide resources and opportunities to Branch personnel to facilitate training and achievement of employee career goals.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
  • Organize and execute Lobby Days and SEG’s to generate new membership and enhance member wallet share.
  • Serves on the Leadership team to develop and plan operational objectives, services, and programs which will execute the strategic goals of the Executive Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum two years related experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years financial institution experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates personal financial responsibility, integrity and ethical behavior, a high degree of professional maturity and leadership.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, including Office 365.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports including detailed summaries of branch performance, successes, and challenges in reaching established branch goals and objectives and proposals for enhancements or changes to existing policy and procedure and performance evaluations.
  • Able to effectively review a member’s information and match products and services to their current needs; convey a high-level service personality.
  • Strong understanding of credit union and branch financials to develop strategies to achieve branch goals.
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate as well as foster team dynamics within the branch staff.
  • Satisfactory attendance/punctuality record.
  • Functional knowledge of data processing system and its reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with members, staff, and the general public.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
