SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Mailroom Attendant will monitor the hotel to provide the security and safety of hotel property, team members, and guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor cameras to protect team members and guests, and to prevent the loss of hotel property.
- Observe or report suspicious activity to management.
- Prepare logs or reports as required.
- Provide courteous and respectful service to team members and visitors.
- Protect the name of the hotel and PUBLIC and ensure that no actions are taken within, or in the name of, the hotel that could bring PUBLIC into disrepute.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures at all levels.
- Receive packages, as well as sort and deliver mail.
- Receive packages from off boarding dock.
- Work with vendors visiting property, badging and logging at entry and exit
- Maintain key control process
- Oversee lost and found process.
- All other responsibilities, tasks and special projects as assigned by leadership.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have flexible work schedule.
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Always maintain a high level of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Ability to always maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure.
