Associate Social Strategist (Freelance)

Responsibilities
You’ll be at the heart of our social strategy, managing the day-to-day execution of campaigns that capture attention, spark conversations, and create lasting connections with our audience. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to bring creative, data-driven ideas to life, ensuring the success of client's brands across social platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Quarterly Social Development:
- Monitor online conversations to amplify brand visibility and inspire creative ideas that make waves on social media.
- Lead quarterly social content planning and brief development to bring fresh, exciting ideas to life.
- Collaborate with creative teams to showcase brands in ways that stop the scroll and spark joy.
- Keep the content machine running smoothly with accurate and timely tracking.
- Content Strategy Development:
- Develop community response strategies that turn casual fans into passionate loyalists and elevate engagement.
- Partner with teams to build bold, impactful social strategies and campaign playbooks that set the standard for success.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Dive into data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities, turning them into actionable recommendations for show-stopping campaigns.
- Influencer Content:
- Collaborate with the influencer team to create buzzworthy content and cement client's brands as must-haves in every household.
- Thought Leadership & Client Management:
- Stay ahead of social trends, tools, and emerging platforms, ensuring client's brands are always setting the pace, not following it.
- Proactively escalate issues, opportunities, and insights to internal team.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests from the social client team.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A 4-year degree and 1 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, or communications.
- A strong passion for social media platforms, including Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, and Snapchat.
- Excellent research, writing, and content ideation skills.
- A solid understanding of marketing strategy, particularly social marketing.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong analytical reasoning.
- Experience with quarterly social content planning and tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
