Overview
We are looking for a Junior Strategist to join us.
This position is part of an industry-leading team which is transforming a regulated CPG category through marketing and digital innovation. Our iconic brands set us apart as we create multi-channel strategies with the ongoing objective to increase brand affinity and choice, whether through innovative digital experiences, engaging content, and/or value in many forms. You’ll learn to think like a brand strategist, a researcher, a digital strategist, or a content strategist on any given day (sometimes on the same day).
This role redefines what it means to work in a regulated category, providing any strategist the opportunity to expand their skills and provide thought leadership on a number of different brands.
- Developing holistic communication strategies and plans including key messaging and engagement needs
- Evaluating communication channels based on audience and campaign goals
- Developing targeting strategies and recommendations to optimize campaigns based on goals and performance metrics
- Following digital trends, technologies and industry best practices for campaign development and strategies
Responsibilities
An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Insights-driven thinking informed by cultural trends, behavioral learning, and other inputs to inform creative development for maximum relevance and impact
- Curiosity and insight into how consumers experience a brand
- Understanding of how to articulate and distill clients’ business problems, transforming them into strong, inspiring creative briefs
- Familiarity analyzing information, research and data to apply findings in the creative idea development process
- Presence and energy; to work with cross-functional teams in the development of strategic solves and creative ideas
- Familiarity with human-centered design principles that are the foundation for consumer-centric messaging approaches and journeys
Qualifications
Experience/Skills Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in digital, brand or media strategy
- Flexible and collaborative – able to partner and develop relationships with diverse personalities and cross-functional teams, including clients
- Strong writer and communicator – able to develop POVs to influence clients and teams, author compelling briefs, and facilitate productive meetings
- Driven by curiosity - to find audience, trend and category information that may help us solve business challenges in different ways
- Desire to take on challenges and proactively problem-solve
- Experience with AI or social a plus
