Overview

The Data Cloud Solution Architect plays a key role in designing, architecting, and delivering Salesforce Data Cloud-driven solutions, with a strong focus on data architecture, integration, and martech enablement. This role is responsible for ensuring that Data Cloud solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with clients’ business objectives while also supporting pre-sales consulting efforts and broader data strategy discussions.

 

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Data Cloud and enterprise data ecosystems, combined with experience in marketing and customer engagement technologies. They will be responsible for architecting end-to-end solutions that enable organizations to unify, activate, and optimize customer data while leveraging Salesforce and adjacent technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution architecture and design of Salesforce Data Cloud implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, best practices, and technical feasibility
  • Provide technical leadership for Data Cloud projects, overseeing solution implementation and build team
  • Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and internal teams to understand requirements and develop scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Define data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and activation strategies, leveraging best practices
  • Translate complex data and technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate on pre-sales consulting efforts, assessing client needs and shaping strategic Data Cloud solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Salesforce Data Cloud and Martech architecture, including designing data-driven customer engagement solutions.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and implementing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data models, data integration, and identity resolution activities.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, translating business objectives into scalable, actionable architectures.
  • Experience in pre-sales discussions driving strategic conversations around data-driven transformation.
  • Deep expertise in data fluency, integration patterns, and real-time data activation.

Certifications and Skills:

  • Candidates must have or be willing to obtain Salesforce Data Cloud and AI Specialist certifications.
  • A strong understanding of Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud (suite) and their operations within Salesforce and the broader enterprise ecosystem is mandatory.
  • Ability to leverage data and AI to drive decision-making and deliver innovative client solutions.

 


Additional information

Pay Range: $135,000-$203,000
