Overview
The Publics Media Finance team is currently seeking a Finance Manager who is a motivated and analytical individual who will play an integral part in the reporting, budgeting and forecasting process. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and be able to handle multiple tasks at one time in a very dynamic landscape.

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $116,380 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Overview
The Publics Media Finance team is currently seeking a Finance Manager who is a motivated and analytical individual who will play an integral part in the reporting, budgeting and forecasting process. Responsibilities
- Work with internal client and support departments on financial analysis including monthly close, staffing reporting, service channels, pipeline, and any other reporting required.
- Work with senior finance and business leaders to provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting
- Own the preparation of monthly Revenue/Expense forecast
- Support month-end close processes in coordination with the controllership team. Duties include revenue/expense calculations and analysis, creation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and review and adjustment of revenue-related accounts
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
- Manage the completion of scheduled FP&A reporting as well as support senior leadership with off-cycle analysis and added reporting requests for senior leadership
- Manage the provision of information to support internal & external audits.
- Assist with payroll related functions, including monthly payroll reconciliation, FTE forecasting, and intercompany staff recharges.
- Work with various business/ Agency teams and manage inter-company relationships and transactions
- Support profitability by managing revenue, resources/costs, ensuring P&Ls are in line with the staffing agreements and brand goals.
- Results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and who can operate effectively independently and in a collaborative environment
- Advanced MS Excel modeling skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables)
- Proficiency with MS Office/PowerPoint
- 4 years’ experience in finance, preferably in media/ agency Finance with working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and perform tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with diverse groups agency-wide
- Thrive working in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible for handling highly confidential financial information
- Collaborative and proactive team player focused on continuously improving processes
- Should be comfortable working directly with senior finance and business leadership
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA (or working towards) a plus
- Familiarity using financial reporting (HFM), accounting (SAP) and media billing systems a plus
