Publicis Sapient (PS), a global leader in Digital Business Transformation (DBT), is looking for a seasoned technology and consulting Director of Sales for Digital Sustain and Digital ASM, to join the Global Growth team, which creates the global strategy, operating model, and organization for sustainable and systematic growth across the organization. As the leader in the sales team, you will develop, drive, and lead new business opportunities for Publicis Sapient’s post launch Digital Sustain Services in the United States and Canada.

Overview

Your primary responsibility as Director of Sales is to bring new sales of Publicis Sapient’s services that address the post launch requirements of our Digital Customers. These include Digital ASM, Digital Run and Digital Operations. You will do this by interfacing with existing account teams and with net-new logo acquisition teams and building a global team of sales professionals to drive pipeline and bookings in their respective regions. Successful candidates will bring a strong functional skill base, a track record of delivering results, and good interpersonal and organizational skill sets.

To be the ideal candidate you would have had proven success in building and leading sales teams for technology services companies, with a focus on growing Digital Engineering and Cloud businesses. You will have strong solution sales mindset, with the experience, expertise, confidence, and presence to work with senior leaders both at Publicis Sapient and customer organizations. Experience in leading, constructing and closing large multi-year ASM and / or Cloud Infra deals at Fortune level companies will be a strong advantage; and so will be experience of working with Hyperscalers and other cloud platform providers. Experience of working in a matrixed environment, which includes interfacing with Industry and Regional sales teams is a must. Knowledge of DevOPs and SRE will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Your Impact :

  • Create and execute a sales plan that will achieve Publicis Sapient’s business goals in the space of ASM for Digital Platforms and Applications
  • Build a global sales team as per the plan, and manage their quotas and performance
  • Interlock with the matrixed country and vertical leadership to define ways-of-working, identify target accounts and build specific execution plans
  • Interface with clients at all levels within existing and prospective account(s) Consult with customers to fully understand their needs
  • Identify and lead the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Leverage a client-diagnostic sales strategy and consultative approach to uncover client specific issues and / or opportunities
  • Identify and manage resources to develop proposals that position the full range of Publicis Sapient’s Digital Business Transformation capabilities with post-launch Digital Sustain at the core
  • Collaborate with Publicis Sapient’s executive team and subject matter experts to jointly present proposals
  • Work with Technology Alliance Partner teams such as Microsoft, AWS, Adobe, Google, Salesforce and others to jointly develop opportunities

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience :

  • Relevant sales and business development experience in ASM and / or ADM services is a must
  • Of these, 2 years must be in positions of team leadership, with experience in managing sales quotas and team performance
  • Experience in leading and winning multi-year cloud technology and consulting services at Fortune-level customers
  • Strong consultative selling focus, with a track record of developing opportunities and closing business
  • Strong business, communication and presentation skills
  • Organized with the ability to manage & track multiple priorities. Project / customer relationship management is a strength
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Track record in working with talented sales personnel and mentoring less experienced members of the sales team on selling, account management and negotiation skills
  • Drive to deliver value to clients and to help shape and build a fast-paced, growing organization
  • BS, B-Tech or equivalent technology degree required. MBA preferred
  • As a sales director expect heavy travel to customer locations and for deal-related meetings
