What are the responsibilities and job description for the IS Building Coordinator - Atlanta Data Center position at Publix?
- Monitor the operation of the building infrastructure components (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and security)
- Troubleshoot problems and supervise the repairs for building issues,
- Maintain the cleanliness of secured computer room and power house areas within the building
- Solicit bids, coordinate maintenance, and supervise the workmanship of the building maintenance vendors (electrical, mechanical, fire prevention, badge access, etc.),
- Track capacity and report metrics for available office space and building mechanical and electrical usage,
- Plan associate moves and assign work space
- Participate in projects related to facility operation
Qualifications:
• Associates Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience• two (2) years’ experience supporting the inhabitants and maintenance of an office building
• experience using building or energy management systems
• Familiarity with building schematics and blue print drawings
• must have an excellent attendance and punctuality record,
• ability to work independently with limited direction,
• excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook,
• excellent organizational and time management skills,
• strong interpersonal and leadership skills,
• excellent judgment and problem solving skills,
• demonstrated ability to manage resources and coordinate efforts of others,
• ability to handle stressful situations,
• must have interpersonal skills, (ability to work well with others and to be a team member),
• willingness to be on-call and provide after-hours support
