PUC National is a non-profit organization that serves to promote, support, benefit, replicate, and carry out the purposes and mission of Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC Schools).
We have a contractual relationship with Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC Schools) to provide a variety of support services to the schools in NE Los Angeles and the NE San Fernando Valley. This includes, but is not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Operations, IT and Data Management, facilities identification and acquisition, fundraising, grant management, college access, alumni relations, charter development and renewal, and compliance.
The Team Member we are searching for
Our ideal Talent Acquisition Analyst demonstrates the ability to manage the full-cycle recruitment function effectively and efficiently, from consulting with hiring managers and determining current and future talent needs, to making offers of employment, and everything in between. The Talent Acquisition Analyst will be a subject matter expert on sourcing and talent acquisition. This team member will also assist with HRIS duties. He/she will use their detail-oriented, analytical, and technical skills to champion the effective use of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) within the Human Resources (HR) department. The HRIS Analyst will provide ongoing system support to a variety of HR technologies used in HR functions including, but not limited to, employee self-service, benefits, compensation, time and attendance, payroll, talent/performance management, recruiting, learning, and management systems. Under the direct supervision of Senior Human Resources Manager
What youll Need to accomplish:
Talent Acquisition (70%)

Develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and team members to efficiently drive the recruitment process and produce results.

Partner with hiring managers to identify key requirements and set recruitment strategies for all open positions.

Provide superior customer service to candidates and all customers throughout the recruitment process; ensure all verbal and written communications are accurate, clear, concise, and professional.

Manage full-cycle recruitment to include sourcing, screening, and placement of all positions within all PUC entities such as teachers, administrators, and classified positions

Develop effective sourcing strategies to build pipelines for top-tier talent and attract passive candidates. Partner with all levels of the organization (e.g., Supervisors, Managers, Directors) to assess staffing needs and fill positions in a timely manner.

Screen qualified candidates through resume reviews and phone/web-based interviews

Coordinate and schedule candidate interview appointments. Conduct interviews with job candidates using phone, in-person, and web-based interview methods to effectively and efficiently qualify each candidate.

Identify and recommend candidates for final interviews

Provide regular updates to Recruiting Manager and Hiring Managers on recruiting status of open requisitions.

Extend offers of employment to candidates who have been approved and complete the hiring process using the human resources information system.

Conduct professional reference checks and forward them to appropriate parties; utilize the human resources information system to submit candidates for approval.

Mange the pre-employment process steps for job candidates

Work closely with hiring managers to create or refine job descriptions and identify target candidates. Write, edit, and update job announcements/advertisements

Utilize the applicant tracking system (Paycom) to document all recruitment activity
HRIS (30%)

Work with our HRIS system (Paycom) with a focus on reporting, business process maintenance, and security administration

Provides technical support for all HR information systems, but not limited to, responding to user inquiries; researching and resolving system issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities and audits; and recommending solutions or enhancements.

Assist with design sessions and develop new processes to supplement and/or improve current processes. Designing, configuring, testing/regression testing, and deploying HRIS systems enhancements/releases and changes requests; analyzing upstream and downstream effects and communicating results; Ensuring all changes are compliant with internal controls and properly documented.

Develops and documents processes and procedures to support operational activities and business continuity; assists in developing change management materials, training guides, and communications.

Write detailed reports while being able to develop ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, and metrics. Partners with stakeholders to collect data requirements, build, generate and schedule reports; designs and develops dashboards for key HR-related metrics and analytics; and maintains and supports integrations as applicable.

Identify data issues, work with colleagues on the selection of best practices and resolutions and perform regular/operational updates in a proactive manner.

Participate in the development of life-cycle standards, processes, policies, and governance for reporting design, analysis, and development.

Qualifications
What do we require from you?
Minimum Qualifications
- Deep commitment to PUCs mission
- Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business, related field, or equivalent training and experience required.
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in HR Recruitment or another related field
- At least one (1) year of hands-on HRIS experience is desired and experience with Paycom desired
- Expert knowledge in MS Excel
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment, selection, admissions, or other human capital work; full-cycle recruitment and hiring preferred; Charter School experience preferred
Experience K-12 education reform, schools district, or educational non-profit desired
- Experience with Paycom or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of effective use of search engines, job sites, social networks, and other tools
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Relationship-building skills to inspire top educators to join PUC

- Must be flexible and team-oriented

Salary : $68,640 - $73,000
