Chief of Engineering and Operations
Pacific Public Utility District is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee our Engineering and Operations departments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing engineering projects, including substation, transmission, and distribution systems. They will also lead operations management and strategic initiatives to ensure the continued success and growth of our utility services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage engineering projects for substation, transmission, and distribution systems
- Oversee operations management and strategic initiatives
- Lead and supervise teams to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10 years of experience in utility electrical distribution, transmission, and substation engineering
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in utility operations
- Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Valid Washington State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Work Arrangements:
- Monday – Thursday; 7am – 6pm
- Supervised by the General Manager
