Director of Marketing & Communication
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Director of Marketing and Communications position requires excellent leadership skills, hands-on project management skills, and the ability to drive results. This role is responsible for the management of marketing and content releases, owning marketing plans, strategies and content schedules from start to release, and partnering effectively with teams inside and outside of Pueblo Radiology Medical Group. As a key leader of the PRMG brand team, this role helps to guide a world class in-house creative and marketing department who are responsible for delivering engaging material to our community.
The Director of Marketing and Communications must be a forward-focused team player with a positive attitude. The role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.
TARGETS
Comprehensive marketing strategies are designed and implemented to create awareness of PRMG activities, products, and brand. The Marketing department provides high-level leadership, direction, and feedback. Ideas are innovated and developed for promotional events or activities and organized efficiently.
The Director of Marketing and Communications will direct the organization toward its primary objectives of clear communication and campaigns in order to fulfill the goal to be the best at Promoting our mission and core values to our community, business partners and patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee project management, coordinates communication, and administrative duties related to marketing and content on various projects. This role will oversee multiple projects at once and will work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced
· Define and drive the creative production process for Pueblo Radiology Medical Group marketing team projects.
· Project management for various global projects simultaneously.
· Works closely with team and creative vendors to implement the marketing strategy for various creative and curriculum-based projects.
· Build comprehensive marketing plans that include social media strategies to share The PRMG story.
· Develop, Lead, Create and Oversee the marketing schedule and enforce timelines of Practice marketing and content projects.
· Screening of potential new opportunities and presenting back to leadership team for feedback and approval.
· Enforce brand consistency and advocate on behalf of PRMG.
· Serves as liaison to contributors and others directly involved in published works, i.e. resolve issues, permissions activities, project documents, edits, drafts, projects, platforms, campaigns, mailings, etc.
· Coordinates and is the designated contact for Practice published resources and various projects.
· Manages vendor relationships related to marketing and facilitates local tours.
· Oversees marketing strategy for PRMG and its affiliates develop content for social media and promotional uses for projects, pre and post release.
· Manages content for distribution i.e. bios, photos, podcasts, series, outside speaking engagements.
· Manages and maintains content for reference from any additional projects the practice participates in.
· Provide oversight and manage distribution to all public facing vendors.
· may also assign other duties or responsibilities, in its sole discretion.
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS
Combination of education and experience:
· Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field; or an equivalent of education plus experience
· 5-10 years of experience as a Marketing Director, Manager or similar role
· Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills Must have previous experience with design or creative services teams
· Must be able to organize executive reviews, signoffs, and coordinate feedback from various stakeholders.
· Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, technical and non-technical individuals
· Ability to work comfortably across teams and with a variety of projects, vendors and high-level professionals and physicians.
· Command of editorial, grammatical, and written communication skills
· Ability to research and present information with clarity
· Working knowledge of social media platforms
· Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
· Able to exercise discretion and confidentiality
· Budget development and adherence
· Positive can-do attitude with ability and drive to implement projects
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience speaking in front of senior executives
· Ability to perform transactional and strategic aspects of the role
· Demonstrated ability to gather, inspire and direct teams to desired results and goals
· Manage high level relationships internal and externally
· PMC, AMA certification highly preferred
