The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to their description of problems or services needed, preparing repair orders and being proactive , accurate and thorough in communication, scheduling appointments as needed. The service advisor may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled. The Service Advisor serves as liaison between customer's and technicians ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the recommended service and / or repairs are understood by the customer.

Compensation :

Employees in this position will primarily be paid commission based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and rest period.
