Job Summary:
We seek a talented and experienced Marketing Manager with a deep understanding of the cannabis industry and expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As our Cannabis Industry Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility, drive website and store traffic, and generate leads. Your role will involve a combination of creative thinking, data analysis, and effective implementation to achieve our marketing goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience within the cannabis industry.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
- Optimize website content and structure to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive lead generation.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to maximize search engine visibility and increase organic traffic.
- Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.) to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and conversions.
- Create engaging and persuasive content across various marketing channels, including website, blog, social media, email marketing, and more.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, keyword rankings, and campaign ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and design, to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals.
- Stay informed about cannabis industry regulations and ensure all marketing activities are compliant with local and state laws.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and strategies to continually optimize marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Must be 21
- Must have cannabis marketing experience.
- Proven experience (3 years) in marketing, with a focus on the cannabis industry.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, with a track record of improving organic search rankings and website traffic.
- Strong understanding of the cannabis industry landscape, including regulations, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Experience managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various marketing channels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of cannabis industry compliance and marketing regulations (e.g., age restrictions, advertising guidelines) is highly desirable.
Required to travel to our Brooklyn office once a week
