What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence & Demand Planning Analyst | Latam Distributors position at Puig?
In Latam Distributors, we oversee 15 countries in Latin America. The focus of our organization is to support our distributors in these markets to achieve the annual goals.
In this role, you will provide reporting & data to understand countries, distributors, brands, and retailer’s performance in order to facilitate insights to the Commercial, Marketing and Management team for decision making, identifying gaps and opportunities for action plans and enhancing business unit results. Additionally, you will upport the responsible for Demand Planning in this business unit with reports, information y overall process support.

What you’ll get to do
Business Intelligence:
- Prepare information and data into organized reporting system that provides valuable inputs to the team (both internal and distributor teams), highlighting / identifying gaps & opportunities for target achievement.
- Prepare reports for monthly follow up of business key performance indicators (KPIs): net revenues, wholesale, sell-out, stocks, coverage by Country/Brand, actual expenses vs budget, etc. Follow up and ensure proper monthly reporting from the distributors, acting as a liaison between internal team and distributors teams.
- Provide guidance to all internal and external information providers to enhance the quality and accuracy of the reporting.
- Prepare or program new reports or new reporting views, as requested by management, using the reporting tools and systems provided. Support the sales team with special projects requiring in depth analysis of business performance and understanding of market/retailer/brands dynamics.
Support to Demand Planning:
- Prepare information required by Demand Planning to guarantee the correct forecast in baseline products and launches is achieved on time and with the targeted accuracy.
- Support, assist and monitor the Planning tool (CPS - Collaborative Planning Session), analyzing the demand that has been imputed by the distributors, in order to guarantee the correct forecast in baseline products and launches.
- Guide the distributor’s team members on the usage of the CPS tool, as required.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Bachelor’s degree on business administration, management, data analytics, economics or similar, or the equivalent in experience on data/numerical information analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced Excel is required.
- Advanced use of PowerBI & Power Query. Experience programming is a plus.
- Previous experiences on the Luxury or Beauty industry will be an advantage.
- Autonomous and results oriented.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team environment.
- Oriented to details and to provide reliable information.
- Complete comand of Spanish and English laguages.
