Job Description
Under limited supervision, operates tractors (and attached equipment), backhoe, bobcat, mini-excavator, loaders, tractors, carry-all, etc. Makes minor repairs and adjustments to equipment. Submits necessary reports. May direct assigned employees.
Compensation :
22.87 / hour (non-exempt)

Responsibilities
Essential Duties
Operates tractors (and attached equipment), backhoe, bobcat, mini-excavator, loaders, tractors, and carry-all.Attaches / detaches all auxiliary equipment to tractor by using required hand tools; such as wrenches, hammer, chisel, screw driver, etc.Makes minor repairs and adjustments to ensure proper functioning of equipment.Assists in servicing equipment with fuel, oil, grease, and water and cleaning parts.Reports equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to the Supervisor, and assists mechanic with simple repairs as directed.Submits oral and / or written reports to Supervisor covering such information as hours spent on different operations, lost time, etc.May assist in moving equipment as directed.Performs duties with due regard to safety of self and fellow employees, and with proper care and protection of Company property.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Qualification / Requirements :
Requires 2 to 4 years of prior experience operating tractor and attached equipment, backhoe, bobcat, mini-excavator, loaders, etc.Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.Requires working to the established procedures and maintaining reliable work attendance.Requires good verbal and written communication skills.Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.Able to think and make effective decisions quickly.Ability to create effective working relationships with employees.Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure.Required Work Cards / Certifications :
Valid Hawaii Driver's License and successful review of Motor Vehicle RecordPhysical Requirements :
