Description
Pulaski High School is seeking an English teacher interested in building collaborative learning environments that support innovative practices. Preference will be given to candidates with 316/317 licensure (Reading Teacher/Reading Specialist), broadcast journalism, HLC certification, and/or a background in theater programming. Additional preference may be given to staff with a willingness to coach or advise student organizations and activities. Qualifications:
A current teaching license
Knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities
The ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current First Aid/CPR certified or must obtain
Demonstrated ability to:

carry out emergency/crisis response procedures
perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position
maintain confidentiality
communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, patrons
