Duties
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily operations to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the completion and accuracy of MDS assessments.
- Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff on best practices and compliance requirements.
- Monitor patient care quality metrics and implement improvement strategies as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the facility.
Skills
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in assisted living, hospice care, nursing home environments, or home health settings.
- Proficient in managing nursing systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with MDS assessments and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, patients, and families.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
