What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Sleep Medicine position at Pulmonary and Sleep Institute?
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care for sleep patients. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to work with patients who require specialized sleep therapy services. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Treat Patients: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and order laboratory tests to diagnose and treat patients' conditions.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, and professional practice guidelines. Knowlege of DME is a must.
- Counsel Patients and Families: Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical processes, health management, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document patients' treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Required qualifications:
- Master of Science Nursing degree from an accredited program
- DEA registration
- Doctor of Nursing Practice - minimum of 2 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
