The Position : PAR is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic full-time Human Resources Generalist for in our Chesterfield PAR location. The selected incumbent must be able to enjoy working in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to travel between other PAR work locations.
Human Resources Generalist Job Responsibilities
- Conducts the recruitment and onboarding process for several positions in all PAR locations. Conducts application, reference, and background checks and makes employment offer. Develops and coordinates the orientation and onboarding process for all new employees.
- Communicates and clarify HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations to managers and employees.
- Participates in PAR's compensation program : Recommend starting wages for new hires. Communicate wage trends to the HR Director.
- Conducts exit interviews and exit process. Analyze exit data and make recommendations to HR Director for corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Manage the unemployment and Workers' Compensation processes. File timely paperwork and represent the company in required meetings and hearings.
- Performs benefits administration. Provides ongoing benefit education and communication to employees, administer new hire enrollment process, and assist with annual open enrollment. Assist with claims resolution, change reporting, and invoice reconciliation.
- Conducts the transactional processes for Human Resources (offer letters, new employee paperwork, benefits enrollment, COBRA, etc.). Maintain personnel paperwork and electronic files in accordance with state and federal law and regulations.
- Maintains confidentiality of employee information and all human resources matters.
- Maintains confidentiality of employees' personnel documents.
- Undertakes tasks around performance management.
- Gathers and analyze data with useful HR metrics as needed.
- Updates job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars. Maintain company websites with current recruiting opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is preferred. At least three years or more of progressively responsible working experience as a Human Resources Generalist or directly handling Human Resources responsibilities. Experience in healthcare is preferred. PHR certification is preferred. Experience working with ADP is desired.
