The offices of Pulmonary, Sleep and Critical Care Specialists is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. Must have previous medical office experience. This person will work closely with otherMedical Assistants, medical doctors and advanced providers.Duties :
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations.-Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.-Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests as directed.-Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.-Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic operations.-Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.-Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.-Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.Requirements : -Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.-Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy.-Background in pulmonary medicine is advantageous.-Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.-Compassionate approach to patient care, particularly with geriatric populations.-Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.Full-time Mon-Friday Expected hours : 40 per week
