Job Description
Looking for a clinically competent practitioner for our Lankenau Medical Center Pulmonary Office, who can identify with our practice principles and standard of care. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Respiratory or Nursing experience preferred. Ability to multitask effectively. Responsible for day to day patient care, assessment and treatment in our outpatient office. Responsibilities include responding to high volume of incoming patient calls, submitting medication refills and prior authorizations. Synthesizes patient assessment data and recognizes complex situations prior to communication with the care team. Provides instructions to patients and/or caregiver. on the proper use of equipment and/or respiratory care procedures. Can perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, spirometry and vital signs. Provides and operates various types of respiratory equipment including oxygen treatment, nebulization therapy. apnea monitoring, PAP and invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Consults with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical condition and plan of care. Performs other duties as required.
