Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Developing and maintaining strong technical and applications expertise with all Pulsar products.
- Maintaining expertise with Pulsar’s technical support systems, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, Quality Databases, and Engineering Change Notifications (ECN).
- Handling technical support calls and troubleshooting on new and existing product installations.
- Track and analyse technical concerns and able to escalate to the engineering and product management teams as needed.
- Able to read and comprehend engineering specifications.
- Perform onsite and virtual training sessions.
- Support the Regional Sales Managers and Sales Application Engineers with advanced technical expertise and training sessions for high profile projects.
- Able to work cooperatively and provide feedback to the Product Management Team, Engineering, Quality, and Marketing with respect to the development of technical documentation, product improvements, and new product ideas.
- Participates in corporate training seminars, webinars, and tradeshows.
- Performing any other duties or responsibilities as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong track record developing and maintaining positive relationships with service customers and sales partners.
- Inherent electrical instrumentation knowledge and experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as current MRP, ERP and CRM systems
- Shows leadership qualities.
- Has excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Exceeds attendance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering, business, technical) and/ or 5 years minimum technical experience.
- Past technical experience with corporate technical trainings
- Awareness of Communication Protocol (SCADA, MODBUS, Profibus)
- Collaborates well within a teamwork environment
- Knowledge of industrial and municipal (water/waste-water) instrumentation is a plus
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience working with ECN and Quality Management programs
- Travel is based on demand when conditions allow. Travel includes but is not limited to regions, factories, offices, customer locations and suppliers.

Working Conditions
- Physical Demand(s): Sitting and standing for reasonable periods of time.
- Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time.
- Travel: 25-35% expected travel annually- Domestic and International
- Hazard(s): Office environment with trips to customer offices, convention centers and construction sites
