VR Attraction Associate for USS Midway Museum
Job Summary:
- Pulseworks LLC owns and operates an entertainment-based Virtual Reality motion simulator aboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, CA, and is looking for a part-time associate to assist with retail sales and attraction operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing superior customer service to all patrons
- Encouraging ridership through friendly upselling and promotions
- Opening and preparing the attraction at the beginning of the day
- Completing daily operations and maintenance checklists.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all customer touch points such as seats, screen, handrails, etc. between each ride cycle.
- Explaining the simulator experience to all potential customers
- Handling cash and credit card sales using Clover. Opening and Closing the cash register.
- Fully explaining all safety rules and procedures to patrons at the start of their experience
- Operate and troubleshoot the simulator as per established procedures
- Be able to follow all emergency stop and exit procedures
- Escort patrons safely on and off the simulator attraction
- Interacting with museum staff to offer seamless service and top-quality experiences
Candidate must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed. Applicants must be energetic, self-motivated, and reliable with high attention to detail.
