What You’ll Do :
Troubleshoot & Maintain TSS Hardware :Isolate and replace faulty components such as displays, monitors, and computer peripherals (hard drives, video cards, desktops / laptops, printers, etc.)Resolve Software Issues :Follow step-by-step procedures to acquire / install software upgrades and patchesLoad operating systems and applications as requiredUpdate existing software and site dataSystem Operations :Execute start-up and shut-down proceduresConduct system back-upsTraining & Reporting :Train FAA personnel on TSS maintenance and operationsOperate TSS for proficiency, recurrent, and qualification trainingBrief FAA and contractor management on simulator performanceDevelop and maintain simulator utilization reportsAdditional Responsibilities :Backup and manage scenario dataAct as a Pseudo Pilot when needed (simulate aircraft movements and engage with ATCT controllers)Develop detailed tower simulation scenarios aligning with training objectivesWhat We’re Looking For :
Experience : Minimum of 4 years in FAA or US Military ATC, or a combination of both, or a degree in Air Traffic Control / Air Traffic Management from an AT-CTI program.Technical Expertise :Strong knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems, particularly systems as complex as the TSS.Key Skills :Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining TSS hardwareProficiency in generating detailed operational reportsRelocation is being offered!
