What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Staff Engineer position at Pump?
You will play a critical role in building our platform, driving the technical direction of our company. This is a hands-on position that will involve working on all parts of our stack, from the frontend to the backend, and collaborating with other engineers, designers, and founders. Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the rest of the team to design and implement our backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
- Act as a long term technical leader owning critical technology and architecture.
- Be responsible for closely mentoring a small team of junior and mid-level engineers (not at a management level but a technical and architecture level).
- Work as a broad technical owner of critical projects and products.
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers to build a user-friendly and intuitive platform that meets our customers' needs.
- Help define and execute the technical roadmap for our platform, balancing technical debt and innovation to ensure we can deliver on our business goals.
- Invent, extend, and maintain development processes, tools, and workflows.
