Fine Gardening Team Leader / Supervisor
Full or Part Time seasonal position from March/April to November/December
Understands, performs and directs seasonal fine gardening tasks as assigned on daily job tickets received via email the day prior to assignment.
- Empowers crew to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Manages task flow throughout the day
- Completes work as expected and budgeted
- Represents the face of the company through professionalism, advanced horticultural knowledge, presentation of vehicle, uniform and job site, as well as willingness to engage with clients
- Available to participates in some Saturday workdays between April 1-October 31, outside of regular schedule
- Teaches by example and coaching during the workday
- Ensures that the NOFA Organic Land Care Standards are adhered to at all times
- Submits Daily Notes on each job ticket in LMN on work completed and lists incomplete work for rescheduling by the end of each workday
- Keeps and submits an accurate time sheet in LMN of own daily hours on client sites.
- Reminds and instructs staff on site as needed to account for individual timekeeping and notes in LMN
- Checks that all crew are wearing designated neat and clean uniforms and are outfitted with a complete set of standard issue PBOG hand tools in good working order
- Keeps assigned company vehicle or personal car stocked with group tools, materials and plants as required for daily work
- Discusses staff issues directly with Field Manager or General Manager
- Discusses client issues or recommendations directly with Field Manager or General Manager
