Punahou's Junior School (K-8) Summer Program is actively recruiting Administrative Assistants for the 2025 summer session. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to department management and/or staff. The Administrative Assistant's primary duties include supporting the day to day operations:
Punahou's Junior School (K-8) Summer Program is actively recruiting Administrative Assistants for the 2025 summer session. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to department management and/or staff. The Administrative Assistant's primary duties include supporting the day to day operations:
- Responsible for student attendance and absences.
- Assists with collating and the distribution of classroom supplies.
- Answers phones, takes messages, screens calls, responds to emails and greets visitors (internal and/or external). Responsible for ensuring that appropriate parties are alerted concerning any issues of significance.
- Responsible for general clerical duties including, but not limited to, managing paperwork, maintaining files and records, handling department mail, data entry, word processing, and making copies.
- Composes and/or responds to routine correspondences.
- Work Year: 1.5 Months
- School Year: Summer School 2025, Dates will vary based on position
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Hours may vary depending on operational needs and position
- Minimum Hourly Rate*: $ 18.00/Hour
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two (2) years of administrative experience.
- Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment is preferred.
- Experience with Google docs, Google sheets and Microsoft Office platform are preferred.
- Must be able to lift 20 - 25 lbs.
