Pet Counselors are responsible to match the right pet with the right family.
Positivity and great communication skills are a must!
You are expected to assist customers in the aisles, at the register, and in the playrooms (small rooms in our store where families can connect with their possible future pets).
You will learn how to build value, overcome objections, run financing, and close deals in a fast-paced sales environment.

Duties also include cleaning after pets, caring for pets as required, and other duties to ensure a good environment for pets.

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Basic math skills for retail transactions and inventory management
- Ability to stock shelves and maintain organized displays
- Experience with POS systems and product demonstrations is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
