POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager of Social Media to lead our social media team and elevate our brand presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, enhances brand awareness, and supports our overall marketing and business objectives, across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, analytical thinker, and strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As the Manager of the Social Media team, this individual will oversee content creation, community management, social campaigns, influencer partnerships, and performance reporting—ensuring consistency in voice and visual identity while staying ahead of digital trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies to strengthen brand presence, increase engagement, and drive growth. Ensuring alignment with the overall editorial calendar and campaign goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to bring campaigns to life. Ensure brand visual alignment across all social channels.
- Community Engagement & Customer Interaction: Monitor and manage daily activity across all social platforms. Ensure inbound messages are addressed in a timely and professional manner while maintaining brand voice and tone.
- Copywriting & Communication: Provide direction for all social media captions and messaging to ensure they are engaging, error-free, and on-brand.
- Digital & Analytical Tools: Utilize scheduling and analytics tools and platform-native insights to optimize post timing and effectiveness.
- Trend Monitoring & Research: Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching social media trends, emerging platforms, and content formats. Make recommendations to improve performance and incorporate new ideas into the content calendar.
- Project Management: Oversee the scheduling, planning, and timely execution of all social content in accordance with brand timelines and marketing brand objectives. Ensure all deliverables meet internal deadlines and campaign milestones.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver reports outlining key metrics, audience insights, and engagement trends. Provide actionable recommendations based on data and highlight content categories and formats that are directly contributing to growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts with a proven track record of growing brand presence, engagement, and follower base across platforms.
- Experience with Meta Business (Instagram & Facebook) and TikTok is required.
- 2 years of experience leading and managing a team of Social Media Coordinators, including overseeing daily content scheduling, community engagement, and execution of campaigns.
- Experience with X, Pinterest and YouTube is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in copywriting and messaging that aligns with brand voice and drives audience engagement.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and manage creative, high-performing social campaigns.
- Proven success in platform management, including publishing, monitoring, and analyzing social performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with experience building and maintaining a structured content calendar.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Lightroom), Planoly, Canva, and Asana for content creation, planning, and project management.
