Rise@Puratos - Supply Chain & Procurement
As a member of the Supply Chain & Procurement Rise@Puratos team, you will collaborate with various teams to develop processes for direct materials management and dual source approvals. You will gain exposure to forecasting and MRP software, create reports on material forecasts and SAP contract balances, and manage RFPs with a focus on data analytics and negotiation. Additionally, you'll act as a Procurement Team Ambassador, standardize savings and cost avoidance spreadsheets, and support category strategy development. This role will enhance your understanding of procurement strategies, project management, and supply chain processes.

Rise@Puratos - Supply Chain & Procurement

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Complete rotations which include a variety of objectives and deliverables including but not limited to:
- Develop processes for direct materials management, create reports on material forecast deviations, manage RFPs with Quality and Planning teams
- Standardize savings and cost avoidance spreadsheets, conduct cost analyses, and support category strategy
- Transition wet production lines to SAP Planning Board, improve planning processes, and ensure timely product delivery
- Evaluate inventory levels to meet demand forecasts and coordinate production plans with available raw materials
- Conduct freight claims analysis, develop prevention recommendations, and improve claims processes with KPI reporting
- Develop training documents on DOT regulations and collaborate with cross-functional teams for claim resolution
- Analyze historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to adjust forecasts
- Perform root cause analysis on KPI opportunities and develop skills in data translation and seasonality
- Improve the Certificate of Analysis (COA) process, enhance communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams, and collaborate with customer service regions and the purchasing group
- Develop organizational and time management skills.
- Note: Responsibilities may change throughout rotations to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
- Senior year or recent graduate (within 6 months) with a bachelor's degree.
- Preferred majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- Passion for the food industry.
- Previous work or internship experience in the Food or CPG industry is a plus.
- Leadership experience in university or volunteer organizations is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a drive for collaboration, flexibility, and continuous learning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
