What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech 1 / Assistant - PT position at Purcell Municipal Hospital?
Purcell Municipal Hospital is in need of a PT Maintenance Tech I / Assistant.
Must have basic tool recognition, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, door operations (including sliding doors), & painting. Must be able to complete log sheets daily on various types of equipment
Duties include:
- Check equipment daily and log into system
- Weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual checks on all various equipment
- Check daily temperatures on HVAC program
- Complete Work Requests as needed with or without supervision
- Help with annual PM on certain equipment
- Work on various types of equipment such as, but not limited to: office chairs, beds, wheelchairs, EVS equipment, doors, floors, locks, toilets, outlets, lighting, ceiling tiles, etc.
- Complete PM to HVAC systems (Changing filters and cleaning coils)
- Help maintain the outside grounds
- Maintain floors by running floor machine as needed
- Assist EVS staff by cleaning patient rooms, occasionally
- Painting (Heli-pad lines, curbs, walls, steps)
Conditions:
- Able to work in inclement weather such as extreme heat and cold
- Able to lift at least 25lbs and up to 40lbs on occasions
- Able to work on your feet for many hours
- Able to work on a ladder and work on things above head
- Able to work on the ground or under desks, beds, and furniture
Must be able to work with others in a friendly and professional manner.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
