Staff UX Designer

Purchaser.ai is building workflow automations for busy purchasing teams. In our time in manufacturing, we have seen too many procurement departments bogged down by grunt work and repetitive tasks. We want to change with software that feels magical.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Staff UX Designer to join our small team and shape the future of procurement workflow automations. You'll play a crucial role in designing thoughtful, delightful experiences for our AI-powered platform that streamlines procurement processes in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex projects and continuously iterate on our product experience.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Conduct research and testing to better understand customer pain points, find new opportunities to delight, and uncover potential new avenues for growth.
• Partner closely with the founders and the development team to plan and manage day-to-day priorities.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• 5 years of UX design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Experience designing software in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or related industries.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and great interaction design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with technical team members.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical limitations and possibilities with developers.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design processes.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their UX implications.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate developer collaboration.
• Previous experience working in rapidly growing startups.
