Job Summary
At PPHS, our teachers are educational coaches. Students participate actively in their learning, and coaches facilitate, encourage, and provide opportunities and support.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provides coaching and support for student academic growth and achievement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners in a co-taught, interdisciplinary instructional setting
- Collects and analyzes student data to support instructional decisions
- Develop meaningful and supportive relationships with students through a positive youth development and restorative justice lens
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and communication with parents and families
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current Indiana Teaching License required
- Experience and knowledge of a Design Thinking Process required
- 2 years working in classrooms and coaching teachers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and work well in a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
