Job Summary
The Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) at Purdue University in Indianapolis is seeking a motivated Graduate Career Development Intern for the summer. This half-time (20 hours/week) internship focuses on providing comprehensive career support to the CCO team. The intern will engage in career coaching for undergraduate and graduate students as needed, assist in program development and planning, help with data collection and analysis and support marketing and communication efforts as needed. Under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Career Services, the intern will have the flexibility to identify and pursue initiatives that align with their strengths, interests, and professional goals.

Responsibilities
- Provide career coaching to undergraduate and graduate students as needed.
- Assist in the development, planning, and execution of career-related programs and workshops.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support career services initiatives.
- Support marketing and communication efforts, including creating promotional materials and helping managing content.
- Provide support to required internship course for continuing students (grading, etc.).
- Represent the CCO and Purdue University in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Required
- Currently enrolled Master’s or PhD student in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organization skills
- Proficiency in computer and online systems.
- Ability to balance varied tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience in advising, coaching, and/or mentoring students.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Prior experience with career development/recruitment work.
