Job Summary
The hired student will assist with general laboratory and greenhouse duties, including preparing media, washing glassware, planting and harvesting greenhouse plants, and weekly maintenance of saltwater aquaria housing marine algae and photosynthetic sea slugs.
Experience
Previous lab experience (classroom or research-based), especially in the biological sciences, is preferred but not required. Students who are work-study eligible are encouraged to apply.
Communication
Able to receive and follow through on verbal instruction from lab members to provide support for research related to greenhouse and saltwater aquaria experiment.
