Job Summary
The Mitch Daniels School of Business at Purdue University invites applications for one Lecturer position in Business Communication, which is a full-time, academic year, renewable appointment, beginning in August 2025. The Business Communication Lecturer will teach 24 contact hours of primarily undergraduate courses in business communication and the potential of some graduate courses. Teaching responsibilities will primarily include undergraduate sections of strategic business writing, with the possibility of teaching some undergraduate or graduate courses on executive presence and data storytelling.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Communication or a related field is preferred, a Master’s Degree in Communication or a related field is required for this position. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of teaching experience, and a passion for mentoring and teaching students. Candidates who have industry experience in Communication or Business, particularly in business writing, are strongly encouraged to apply.
