The Faculty Success Program Administration Specialist provides high-level administrative support for a variety of faculty-related programs and processes and is a critical member of an administrative team that supports the College of Engineering’s Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). Assists the Associate Dean of the Faculty and the Director of Faculty Success Programs in establishing, implementing, and monitoring short-term and long-term goals for OAA. Performs the duties of the Director of Faculty Success Programs in his/her absence.

Event Management.
- Oversee execution of event-related logistics such as the processing of registrations; coordination of facilities, catering, and equipment; execution of financial transactions, including travel and reimbursement for speakers, guests, and participants.
- Serve as the on-site manager during events to monitor AV equipment, timely delivery of food, transportation, as well as customer satisfaction. Resolve on-site problems/issues
- Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards and databases, using the data for planning and continuous improvement in program and event quality.
- Collaborate with the Director to establish OAA program goals and determine metrics for program success. Implement program plans to achieve goals. Evaluate program outcomes. Reassess and revise program plans for continuous improvement.
Program Management – Trailblazers in Engineering (TBE)
- Review and improve applied standards and practices
- Prepare and monitor program calendar and timelines
- Manage relations with vendors or partner organizations
- Create and maintain a budget, providing timely reports to inform decision-making
- Facilitate growth of TBE by responding to grant funding opportunities and developing and executing a plan to secure corporate sponsorship
Communication
- In collaboration with the Engineering Communications Team, design and implement communications strategies for events and programs across multiple media platforms, including print, electronic, and social media

Education and Experience

- One (1) year of similar experience
