The Technical Assistance Program (TAP) has been transforming business, industry, healthcare, and governmental units for more than 35 years by providing consultative services, professional development, applied research, cybersecurity services, and technical assistance via Purdue faculty, staff, students, and sub -contractors.
The operations Support Administrator will support TAP and TAP leadership by overseeing all day-to-day clerical / administrative operations. The Operations Support Administrator will manage travel and expense reports, scheduling key meetings and team events, and organizing recurring all-hands sessions. Responsibilities include office management, such as ordering supplies and maintaining vendor agreements, as well as event planning from arranging catering and setting agendas to compiling slide decks and scheduling participants into educational offerings. Additionally, this role involves program and project administration, including data entry, process creation, workflow documentation, and assorted on-site tasks. There will also be the need for this role to act as the inter-departmental liaison, assistance with on-boarding and off-boarding duties, document management, and the management of incoming departmental inquiries. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor's degree
- One or more years of work experience in business operations
- Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of required education and related work experience
- Experience working with budgets, business systems, and in support of multiple teams and efforts
- Familiarity with business systems like CRMs (Salesforce), service accounting tools (iLAB) and project management tools (Monday.com)
- Familiarity with university-specific systems like Concur and Ariba
- Familiarity with sales cycle management functions including leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities
- Ability to analyze budgets and create budget narratives and reports
- Proficient in MS Office applications and other productivity tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Acrobat, etc.
