Purdue University Recreation & Wellness is accepting applications for the RecWell Outreach Ambassador role to provide support to the Assistant Director of Outreach and the RecWell team. The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator who is adept with capturing events, creating social media content, and capturing everything RecWell offers through video and photography to be used in a wide variety of outreach and member engagement. The student job will have the opportunity to build their own portfolio of work through employment in this role. The position reports to the Assistant Director of Outreach.
This role represents all of Recreation & Wellness.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Outreach, this position will assist with the regular and as needed demand of promoting Recreation & Wellness offerings, events, updates and engagement to members. This content may include :
- Covering all aspects of an assigned event, content, or RecWell projects.
- Processing and editing videos as needed for final use.
- Uploading videos to a shared location where RecWell staff can access area content (Wrike).
- Assisting with maintenance and organization of the Recreation & Wellness social media pages.
- Assisting and leading tabling events for job openings and events going on at the RecWell facility.
- Creating graphics for social media posts through Canva and Adobe.
- Meeting regularly with the Assistant Director of Outreach.
- Other duties related to the role as needed.

Hours Worked : Applicants should be available to work 10-15 hours per week.
