What will you do?
As a Project Engineer, you'll dive into a variety of exciting engineering tasks, focusing on the design and commercialization of new products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver products that drive growth and meet business goals. Your creativity and technical know-how will be key as you collaborate to bring new ideas to life and improve existing ones.
- Design and commercialize products through the structured NPD process and corporate timelines.
- Lead independent design projects, including metal parts, plastics, fabrication, and mechanical assemblies.
- Create 3D models and CAD drawings for concepts, prototypes, and production.
- Recommend and select materials, components, and manufacturing processes to ensure top-notch product performance.
- Analyze mechanical systems for functionality, performance, and design longevity.
- Work with manufacturing partners to refine designs and implement changes for new and existing products.
- Help create technical specifications for quality standards and sourcing.
- Manage technical documentation, including drawings, calculations, spreadsheets, test plans, reports, and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for new product development, process improvements, quality enhancements, cost reductions, and product line expansions.
- Manage multiple development projects, ensuring costs, quality, and schedules stay on track.

Your Work Environment :
You'll be based at one of our locations in Sandwich, IL, or Spirit Lake, IA, working both in the office and on the manufacturing floor-where the magic happens. Some travel between both locations will be required.
