As a member of Pure's Analyst Relations team, the Sr Analyst Relations Manager will support the development and execution of an effective Analyst Relations strategy that aligns with Pure's business goals and objectives. Reporting to the Director of Global Analyst Relations, this position will manage strategic partnerships with the industry analyst community.
Pure does not have a typical AR program; we don't measure ourselves on how many briefings we conduct, and we don't set targets for briefing cadences. We are a strategic organization within the Global Communications team that is chartered with fostering deep relationships with the industry analysts that can impact our business and our markets. We measure the depth, breadth and positivity of these relationships to understand the true influence that we are having on the business. The results of these efforts pay off with top positions in analyst evaluation reports and positive coverage across our analyst ecosystem.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Develop and foster strategic partnerships with our growing community of analysts
- Broaden visibility of Pure Storage, its strategy and core products in partnership with the analyst community
- Manage product evaluations such as the Gartner Magic Quadrant submissions, and set a strategy with the business units to improve positioning each year
- Articulate Pure's high-level messages with the analyst community to secure support and advocacy both verbally and in writing
- Share analyst research summaries and sentiments broadly across internal stakeholders including senior management
- Collaborate with product and corporate marketing to deliver analyst content and programs to drive lead generation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment for Pure's best interest
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 7 years of experience in Analyst Relations in the technology industry. BA/BS in Communications, Technology or Business preferred
- Strategic thinker with excellent program management, written, and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with executing against deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- High energy, enthusiastic team-player with a positive, flexible attitude, and a sense of humor, are essential
- Understanding of the technology industry, and comfortable with current market trends
- Ability to synthesize, interpret and summarize third-party analysis and research for cross-functional audiences, including senior executives
- Ability to work in a small team environment, but also work effectively with all cross-organizational functions
- Knowledge of storage, AI, data protection and/or cloud markets a plus
- Familiarity with ARchitect and productivity-focused AI tools a plus
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the RTP office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $141,000-$212,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
