Position Overview

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

The Sr. Manager, Inventory & Project Management will be responsible for overseeing inventory control processes and managing cross-functional projects to ensure efficient operations and optimal inventory levels. This role requires strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with various departments to meet company goals and enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and other departments to ensure inventory alignment with business needs.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track inventory performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and optimize the relationship with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient and effective distribution of inventory.
  • Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to consolidate and report excess and obsolete.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage projects to improve operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, define project goals, and align resources.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
  • Implement best practices in project management and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, project management, or related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and leading project teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and project management tools (e.g., ERP systems, WMS, MS Project).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM) and project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $173,000.00 /Yr.

Pay Transparency Statement

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
