Water Filtration Shop Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our warehouse operations, ensuring that our water filtration systems and related components are stored, organized, and ready for installation and repair jobs. This position is a great opportunity to learn our industry and advance to the position of Service Technician as a career.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Assist technicians by preparing equipment and materials for installation and repairs.
• Pick up field service calls as needed to assist Service Technicians.
• Track and perform basic fleet maintenance: oil change, tire rotation, air filters, wiper blades etc. of 18 company vehicles.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lift and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. We will train and certify you!
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to look ahead and stay on top of the ball.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mechanical experience is a plus!
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and common sense.
• Ability to lift 70lb and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
