Lead Solar Installer

Purelight Power is seeking reliable, self-starting Lead Solar Installers for our team in the Cedar Rapids area. If you are an experienced Solar Installer with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for quality installations, we want to hear from you.

Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation
• Knowledge of roofing and general construction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team orientated with proven leadership skills
• Good attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to maintain professional attitude
• Ability to maintain company tools
• Basic record-keeping skills
• High attention to detail

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 yrs experience as a residential solar installer
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to perform all essential job duties including work on steep roofs and attics
• Valid US driver's license with a good driving record
• Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

• residential solar installation: 2 years (Required)
• construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Cedar Rapids, IA 52402: Relocate before starting work (Required)
