Objective of the Position: Assist Plant Controller with preparing financial information and reports by compiling information, and utilizing appropriate internal accounting control procedures.
Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
- Compile financial information and document business transactions.
- Analyzes data, resolves issues and investigate root cause.
- Prepare and review expense, and other accounting documents.
- Prepare reports for management review (BOR, M.O.M, ECE, etc).
- Reconcile Monolith and Directed Buy pricing, must interpret cost changes to produce an inventory revaluation.
- Process financial internal control monthly
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigates questionable data.
Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
- Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting.
- Minimum two years’ experience working in an accounting role.
- Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in SAP within six months.
Technical Expertise:
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
- Analytical- Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.
- Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions.
- Strives to continuously improve expertise, knowledge and skills.
