Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Sr. Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work directly for the Fleet Manager. Along with overseeing lead mechanics in all regions, the Senior Fleet Maintenance Manager will responsible for overseeing the coordination of all fleet maintenance for both internal and external maintenance activities, enterprise-wide.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure the longevity of assets and minimize downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring their performance and development.
- Oversee and manage the maintenance budget, including planning, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
- Manage the condition and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring prompt and effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, and prepare regular reports on maintenance performance.
- Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in the development and implementation of capital plans for equipment upgrades and replacements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of fleet management experience in construction, or related industry.
- Ability to analyze, track and generate large data sets.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communications skills with the ability to network effectively.
- Experience and ability to effectively lead and manage teams.
- Experience utilizing enterprise resource planning software (Acumatica preferred).
- Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Experience utilizing industry (construction) specific software (Samsara, HCSS).
- Advanced time management, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Willing to travel as needed.
