Plant Manager
· Oversee all aspects of a plant's daily operations, ensuring efficient production, maintenance, quality control, and safety, while also managing staff and budgets to achieve company goals.
· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and company objectives.
· Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
· Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet standards.
· Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
· Diligently maintain company records regarding quality, safety and other operational protocols
· Support external audits and manage corrective measures to findings
· Manage the plant's budget, including capital expenditures and operating costs.
· Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
· Address and resolve production issues and equipment problems promptly and effectively.
· Prepare and analyze production and performance reports for management.
· Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including employees, suppliers, and customers.
· Manage inventory levels to ensure that raw materials and finished goods are available when needed.
· Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain quality standards.
· Obtain and perform continuing education to maintain job related certifications including PCQI (Preventive Controls Certified Individual) and CPO (Certified Plant Operator.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration preferred
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial manufacturing, 5 years preferred
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role with direct reports, 5 years preferred
· Experience in clean manufacturing and FDA regulations for Food or Beverage is preferred
· Knowledge of FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) and/or PCQI Certification is a plus
· Strong understanding of production processes
· Proven ability to maintain product quality standards and follow, monitor and adapt safety protocols
· Proven ability to manage employees and develop a team culture
· Track record of successful management of financial factors in a manufacturing environment
· Proven ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and be effective in a fast-paced work environment
· Strong organization and time management skills
· Desire to continuously learn as evidenced through prior work assignments, job advancement, etc.
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Applications

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
