Role: We are seeking a professional and organized Genetics Specialist to help track and provide insight into our cannabis production at our Uxbridge, MA grow facility.

Responsibilities:
- Track the progression of 100 distinct varieties throughout the growth cycle, ensuring timely collection of performance data.
- Collect and enter performance data, validate metrics, and analyze results.
- Assist production team in planning the management of production varieties to ensure consistent quality while maintaining all varieties.
- Assist production team with the introduction & scale up of new varieties.
- Perform repetitive tasks with high attention to detail.
- Cooperate and assist other cultivation leads and associates in various areas as requested.
- Maintain accurate and efficient harvest operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional cultivation and production departments.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of greenhouse equipment.
- Communicate effectively about plants, machines, and activities within the cultivation function.
- Identify hazards, report incidents, and maintain job-related confidentiality.
- Punctuality and attendance are critical in this role.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid photo ID.
- 21 years of age or older (per state requirements) and pass a thorough background check.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid MTC Agent Card.
- Ability to acquire knowledge of common grow room processes and equipment.
- Basic mathematical skills and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in evolving situations.
- Hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures.
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.
- Must be able to work in various positions for extended periods and handle organic matter daily.
