Key Responsibilities:
- Large Order & Event Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for all large orders, sports team orders, and special event needs. Manage the scheduling, organization, and fulfillment of these orders to ensure smooth operations.
- Employee Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee the scheduling of all employees, ensuring adequate staffing for shifts and special events. Maintain clear and open communication with the team regarding schedules and changes.
- High-Level Operations: Handle inventory management and ensure smooth operations by overseeing internal systems. Work with management to identify areas for improvement and implement processes to improve efficiency.
- Partnership & Social Media Management: Act as the main point of contact for all community and business partnerships. Assist with social media content creation and help maintain relationships with local organizations, including dietitians, sports managers, philanthropy chairs, and sororities.
- Online Platform Management: Manage online platforms for submitting orders, employee applications, and other business-related digital submissions. Ensure smooth functionality and timely responses.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Assist with small in-house tasks and provide support to ensure the business runs smooth daily.
- Growth & Community Engagement: Take the initiative to come up with new ideas to continue the success of our business, especially in terms of connecting with the Syracuse student body and surrounding community. Help us maintain a high standard of customer service and build stronger relationships within the community.
- System Improvement: Collaborate with management to build more structured systems that improve efficiency as we expand. Help implement best practices to streamline operations for a growing team of 35 employees.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Coordination & Management: Previous experience in event coordination, project management, or operations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Clear Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners. A proactive approach to addressing challenges and providing solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for details, especially when managing schedules, orders, and event logistics.
- Community-Focused: Passion for supporting the local community and helping small businesses grow. A genuine interest in promoting healthy food and wellness.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online platforms for scheduling, order management, social media, and general business operations.
- Problem Solver & Initiative-Taker: Ability to think outside the box, create systems, and improve business processes while contributing innovative ideas for continued growth.
- Availability: Hours may vary based on event schedules, order volumes, and operational needs.
- Food Industry Experience a huge plus

Pay: $20.35 - $25.00 per hour
